On August 24, 2021, the British government issued the latest rules and guidelines on the UKCA logo.
◆ Before January 1, 2023, manufacturers can continue to use the CE mark for products placed on the market in the UK.
◆ From January 1, 2023, products placed on the market by manufacturers in the UK must use the UKCA logo.
◆ The UKCA logo can now be used, and the British government encourages companies to start using the UKCA logo as soon as possible.
This means that the acceptance period of the CE mark in the UK market has been extended from January 1, 2022 to January 1, 2023.

You can continue to use the CE marking for goods placed on the market in Great Britain until 1 January 2023. The UKCA marking must be used for placing goods on the market in Great Britain from 1 January 2023. The UKCA marking can be used now and we encourage businesses to start using the UKCA marking as soon as possible.
