3. Resolution on the implementation of GB/T 2099.1 and GB/T 1002 standard replacement of plugs and sockets for household and similar purposes

GB/T2099.1-2021 "Plugs and sockets for household and similar purposes - Part 1: General requirements", GB/T1002-2021 "Types of single-phase plugs and sockets for household and similar purposes" , Basic Parameters and Dimensions" standard has been released on October 11, 2021, and will be implemented on November 1, 2022. The new version of the standard will replace the GB/T 2099.1-2008 and GB/T1002-2008 standards from the date of implementation. .

After the research and analysis of the new and old standards by the Appliance Accessories Group (TC07) of the Compulsory Product Certification Technical Expert Group, the resolution is as follows:

1. See Annex 1 for the main differences and supplementary tests (inspection items) of the new and old standards of GB/T2099.1. For the corresponding products based on the sub-standards of GB/T2099.1 (GB/T2099.2, GB/T2099.3, GB/T2099.4, GB/T2099.5, GB/T2099.7), you can refer to this resolution. Attachment 1 to carry out tests or inspections.

2. The main differences between the old and new GB/T1002 standards and supplementary tests (inspection items) are shown in Annex 2. For the revision of product standards that refer to GB/T1002, tests or inspections may be carried out with reference to Annex 2 of this resolution.
