With the rapid development of a new generation of information technology, the original two standards are also facing new problems in their use. This revision of the standard mainly has two outstanding improvements: on the one hand, the scope of application is further expanded, and the new version of the standard integrates the original GB 4943.1-2011 "Information Technology Equipment Safety Part 1: General Requirements" and GB 8898-2011 "Audio, Video and Similar Electronic Equipment Safety Requirements" mandatory national standard, covering all products of audio, video, information technology and communication technology equipment, conforming to the current technology industry development trend.
