48 pieces! Tianjin Xingang Customs seizes a batch of toys not certified by CCC
Date:2022/3/18 Clicks:662

Tianjin Xingang Customs recently seized a batch of toys that have not been certified by CCC, a total of 48 pieces, which have been handed over for follow-up disposal.

A few days ago, a company in Tianjin declared to import a batch of old puppets. During the on-site inspection, customs officers found that the actual goods were plastic toys in the shape of cartoon characters, which were inconsistent with the declaration.

According to relevant national laws and regulations, plastic toys must obtain CCC certification. However, this batch of toys has no CCC certification mark, and the enterprise cannot provide certification certificate, which does not meet the relevant requirements of my country's national compulsory product certification. The full name of CCC certification is the compulsory product certification system. It is a product conformity assessment system implemented in my country in order to strengthen product quality management and protect consumers' personal safety.

The customs reminds the general public and enterprises that children's toys have been included in the scope of national compulsory certification, and products must comply with national standards and relevant technical specifications before they can be imported or sold.

When consumers buy toys, they must carefully check whether there is a CCC logo. Enterprises should strictly control the purchase of goods, and should go through the corresponding certification procedures in advance before reporting to the customs to avoid losses.
