to see. See if there is a quality system certification; see if the certificate is standardized; see if there is a factory name, factory address, inspection stamp, production date; see if there are trademarks, specifications, voltages, etc. printed on the wires. It also depends on the cross-section of the copper core of the wire. The superior-quality copper has a bright color and a soft color, otherwise it is a defective product.

To try. It is preferable to bend a wire end repeatedly by hand. Those with soft hand feel, good fatigue resistance, plastic or rubber feel elastic and no cracks on the wire insulator are superior products.

weigh. Good quality wires are generally within the specified weight range. For example, the commonly used plastic insulated single-strand copper core wire with a cross-sectional area of 1.5mm2 has a weight of 1.8 to 1.9kg per 100 meters; the plastic insulated single-strand copper core wire of 2.5mm2 has a weight of 3 to 3.1kg per 100 meters; poor quality The weight of the wire is insufficient, either the length is not enough, or the copper core of the wire has too much impurities.

Look at copper. Qualified copper core wire copper core should be purple, shiny and soft to the touch. The copper core of the fake and inferior copper core wire is purple-black, yellowish or white, with many impurities, poor mechanical strength and poor toughness. When checking, you only need to peel off one end of the wire by 2cm, and then rub a piece of white paper on the copper core. If there is black material on the white paper, it means that there are more impurities in the copper core. In addition, the insulation layer of fake and inferior wires seems to be very thick, but in fact, most of them are made of recycled plastic. Over time, the insulation layer will age and leak electricity.

Look at the price. Due to the low production cost of counterfeit and shoddy electric wires, traders often sell them at low prices under the guise of cheap and high-quality wires, which makes people fooled.

"Non-standard/enterprise standard/market national standard" and "protection resistance national standard"?

When many sales companies are asked whether it is a national standard cable, they often hear the words "market national standard" and "protection resistance national standard". Many people do not know much. What do these vague words mean?

Protection resistance national standard: the cable is used to energize, and the resistance value of the conductor directly affects the conductivity. If the conductor resistance is too large, the electrical conductivity will be poor, and when a large current passes through, a large amount of heat will be generated, which will cause a fire. At the same time, due to the large resistance, heat will be generated and power consumption will be inactive.

Resistance cable is to ensure that the resistance value of the cable is in line with the national standard, but it does not guarantee that the material of the cable is produced in full accordance with the national standard, such as the square number of conductors, insulation, sheath, etc. To put it bluntly, the manufacturer makes the cable meet the conditions of safe use under the premise of reducing the cost of materials through various technological innovations (or means).
